Chromatic Landscapes is a photographic series inspired by the pictorial work of the American expressionist Mark Rothko. With this series, I aim to redeem the landscape from all objectivity and endow it with infinite interpretations.
In this work, color takes center stage and manifests itself as a transmitter of meanings. Red, green, or blue, among others, can lead us to visualize a sunrise, a forest, or the sea. But they can also evoke environments where passion, sadness, or hope reside. Therefore, each of these images becomes a unique and imaginative experience for the viewer.
Without further ado, I invite you to discover your own landscape among its planes of color.
